Q.  WHy will my order take up to 8 weeks to ship?

A.  We are a small business with a small-scale production and try to function as economically-friendly as possible.  One of the ways we ACHIEVE this is by not keeping a large inventory on hand, and instead making most items to order.  This allows us to produce less POTENTIAL waste while also putting more care into each item.  We believe that good things are worth waiting for, and more special when they are made SPECIFICALLY for you. 

 

Q.  WHY does gold vermeil take longer to produce than other metals?

A.  We plate in batches once every month or every-other month to simplify our production and maintain a light eco footprint.  Your gold vermeil item will be grouped in with the closest plating batch, which can be upwards of 8 weeks out, but usually 4-6.

 

Q.  HOW SHOULD I CARE FOR MY JEWELRY?

A.  Most metals will naturally patina over time, however, there are measures you can take to prolong the life of your jewelry.  We recommend removing all jewelry prior to showering, swimming, cleaning, or when engaging in any other activity that would expose your jewelry to water, oils, or chemicals.  Exposure of this sort can patina metal, affect the appearance of softer stones and wear down plating.  If your jewelry begins to appear a bit dull or darkened, we recommend a polish with a soft jewelry cloth, or with a non-abrasive cleaner specific to jewelry and an extra soft-bristled toothbrush.  Be sure to avoid abrasive materials as it can disrupt any plating.  Do support the backside of open stone-settings, and avoid applying too much pressure.  When not wearing your jewelry, we recommend storing it in an air-tight container, preferably wrapped in a soft cloth.

 

Q.  DO YOU OFFER RE-PLATING OF YOUR GOLD VERMEIL JEWELRY?

A.  Yes.  While our gold vermeil jewelry is plated at a thickness meant to withstand much wear, it is possible for that plating to eventually lessen with repeated exposure to the skin's natural oils, and we do offer replating services of our designs when this happens.  We time this service with our other plating batches (read previous Q. + A.) and charge a fee of $12 + tax & shipping per each ring or small pair of studs, and $24 + tax & shipping for necklaces and larger earrings.

 

Q.  DO YOU OFFER RING RE-SIZING?

A.  No, we do not.  If you are unsure what size to purchase, we recommend visiting your local jewelry shop to be sized prior to placing your order.  If you have already placed your order and purchased the wrong size, we will do our best to help direct you where to have your ring re-sized.

 

Q.  CAN YOU RE-PURPOSE MY METAL TO CREATE ONE OF YOUR DESIGNS?

A.  We cannot.  We work with a casting house to cast our wax prototypes, and they supply all metals.

 

Q.  DO YOU TAKE ON CUSTOM WORK?

A.  Yes, When our schedule allows.  CONTACT US with your ideas and we'll see if we can help.

 

Q.  MY STONE FELL OUT.  CAN YOU REPLACE IT?

A.  In the event that a stone has become loose or fallen out of one of our designs as a result of normal wear and tear, we will replace it.  We will replace semi-precious stones for no charge.  All diamonds and sapphires will be replaced for a fee that totals the retail cost + tax of the missing stone(s).  We strongly encourage you to insure all fine jewelry, as we cannot be held financially responsible for these damaged or lost items.

 

Q.  MY JEWELRY BROKE.  CAN YOU FIX IT?

A.  If one of our designs has broken as a result of normal wear and tear, we will repair or replace your item for no charge.  However, if we determine that your jewelry has broken due to misuse, we cannot be held responsible for repairing or replacing your item.  Example:  Cuff rings and bracelets cannot withstand repeated opening and closing to adjust size.  Repeated hinging of metal will eventually lead to it cracking and breaking, and we do not consider this normal wear and tear.

 

Q.  DO YOU OFFER PRICE ADJUSTMENTS?

A.  No.  We do not offer retroactive refunds of any kind.  Follow along with us on Instagram to be kept up to date on our sales.  We do not offer price matching to that of our stockists.  Additionally, while we strive to keep the prices of our designs consistent, we reserve the right to adjust our prices accordingly to the market value of our materials.

 

Q.  I PRURCHASED A MOLLY DEBIAK ITEM THROUGH ONE OF YOUR STOCKISTS.  CAN I EXCHANGE OR RETURN IT THROUGH YOU?

A.  No.  All items purchased outside of this website must be dealt through and in accordance with that individual store's policies.

 

Additionally, we would like to remind you here that our jewelry is small and not meant for children.  Please keep your JEWELRY out of their reach, as small items can pose a choking threat to little ones.
